10 December 2025 is International Human Rights Day and the 77th anniversary of the UN Declaration of Human Rights. To celebrate this and reaffirm the importance of all 30 articles in the Declaration, we will be hosting our first global online meeting of the Alumni of the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights.  This will be an opportunity for us to thank those who partner with us and give special appreciation to the alumni who donate and support our work. We are grateful for this community of practice.  Our much-loved Board Member and Tutor, Professor David Mwambari, who so many of you will remember from your Oxford days, will give our guest lecture. Following David’s presentation, we will give an update on the progress and plans of the Oxford Consortium and an appeal to everyone online to give whatever you can - money, talent, or time - to secure and expand our work in the years ahead. We really hope you can make it and look forward to seeing as many Alumni as possible. This will also be an opportunity for you to share your news with other alumni. And, from now on, we intend to make December 10 an annual event and a day when we meet as a whole community every year. - OCHR President, Hugo Slim
