Human Rights Education in Los Angeles, California January 2019

Welcoming the Stranger

In January 2019, the Consortium launched an ambitious new program area to focus on human rights pedagogy for educators kindergarten through graduate school. The workshop’s design centers on the experience and necessary skills for teaching human rights, and the role of the teacher in empowering their students' growth in this area.

NOTE: Unlike other OCHR conferences, this conference is open only to educators—professional teachers and college/university faculty. Current students should consider other workshops.

The conference will take place Thursday, January 17th-Saturday, January 19th at the Skirball Cultural Center and Oakwood School

REGISTRATION IS Closed

We are now fully booked for the January conference. However, people’s plans sometimes change, so if you would like us to contact you if space becomes available, please do so.
