Human Rights and Development: Institutional Responsibility and Community Action

Hosted and directed by Professor Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox

This workshop invited a broad range of perspectives of those working within the international framework to extend and preserve Human Rights. The group toured the headquarters of the United Nations, as well as engaging with a series of advocates, scholars, UN Special Rapporteurs, and practitioners.

At Quinnipiac University we focused deeply on issues of community engagement, working with scholar Nabeel Hamdi and visiting refugee protection agency Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services

The seminar concluded by attending the Global Justice Conference at Yale University.
